Halliwell Jones BMW Junior Ryder Cup 2024

Another amazing couple of days in this year’s Junior Ryder Cup. Congratulations to everyone that played, and of course to Team Europe this years winners! Final score was 11-9 to Europe.

It was a close one and spectacular golf as ever! So many chip in’s, near holes in one and of course lots of near misses.

We are delighted to announce our new sponsor Halliwell Jones BMW will be supporting a host of our junior activities over the next year. They will be  providing prizes, trophies, equipment, playing opportunities, girls and beginner days, team shirts and more!

We will also be hosting our very first Halliwell Jones BMW Junior Golf Day in August! The day will be hosted by DP World Tour Player Matthew Baldwin. Definitely a day to look forward to!

May Half Term Holiday Camps

We have a week of golfing fun lined up for all abilities, from Tues 28th May to Fri 31st May. There are sessions for all levels of ability and experience, boys, girls, members and visitors welcome.

If you aren’t sure which sessions would be most appropriate for your child please get in touch with your coach or contact Mark before booking.

The sessions will be hosted by PGA Golf Professionals Simon Tracey and Sammy Jaafari.


Tues 28th May – Beginner and ‘Newish‘ Golfers Half Day Camps

For all beginners and for golfers with less than 18 months experience.

There will be a good variety of games, challenges and coaching on the short game areas, putting green and driving range. There will be a morning camp and an afternoon camp.


Age guide is 6-12
Level – beginner or less than 18 months experience
Times 9.00am to 12.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm
Cost £35


Wed 29th May and Thurs 30th May
Improver and ‘Newish‘ Golfers Day Camps


For golfers with some prior experience, typically 6 months to 2 years.

There will be a good variety of games, challenges and coaching on the short game areas, putting green and Par 3 Course


Age guide is 8-14
Level – Prior experience required (i.e. had coaching but not competition ready, but maybe started playing on course)
Times 9.00am to 3.30pm
Cost is £55 per day or £100 for both days


Fri 31st May – Par 3 ‘Players’ Day

A fun filled day of golf playing the Par 3, plenty of instruction and high on fun!

It’s for all juniors who are competent to play on the Par 3 course, whether you are experienced or just starting. There will be a mix of short game and Par 3 playing.

Age Guide 8-16
Level – Competent for Par 3 on-course play
Time – 9.00am to 3.30pm
Cost is £55 per day

Another amazing day at Styal. The conditions were tough but it bought out some well deserved performances! It was a great field of all ages, boys an girls, members and non-members.
