It’s our first series of junior competitions on the main course since Covid arrived so I’m sure you can’t wait to get going again. It looks like we might be in for some decent weather too!
Please find the details below for the series, there has been lots of interest so it should be a great series.
Format
There are six competitions on consecutive Monday evenings, starting on Monday 7th June. Tee time are approx. 5.20pm to 6.00pm.
It will be nine holes played over the front 9 holes of the main course. Format is individual Stableford. Boys will be off yellow tees and girls off the red tees. They will be qualifying competitions for handicap purposes.
There will be ‘Order of Merit’ for the series which we have separate prizes and trophies. This will be decided by your best three scores.
You will need an official handicap to take part in the competition, new players without a handicap are welcome to play to attain your handicap but you won’t be able to compete until you have your handicap. You will also need to be a member of the club to get a handicap.
Booking
Booking is done through the BRS system, members can book online as usual through the App, non members will have to call the Pro shop (01625 531 359) or let me know and I will book you in. You will need to book for each week you would like to play.
For new players please contact me directly and I will book you in for the first competition.
Please make sure you book early to reserve your tee time. Spaces are strictly limited.
Payment
There will be two parts to the payment for each competition:
1. Your applicable green fee (depending on your membership type.) payable weekly at the pro shop before play.
2. The competition fee
The competition fee will be £5 per event or £25 to enter all six. Preferable payment is via bank transfer to me directly.

Junior Platinum – FOC
Junior Gold – £4
Par 3 Academy Member £6
Visitors £10

Prizes:
We have our usual array of amazing prizes!
There will a set of awards for each competition and a set of trophies for the top three in the Order of Merit. We also have some amazing prizes from Callaway including our European Tour Winner David Horsey’s tour bag!
There will also be the customary ‘shot of the day’ and ‘nearest the pin’ prizes! It’s all to play for.
