In tribute to our amazing Ivan Bloor who we very sadly lost in 2023, we have set up a regular game for both new and established junior golfers to play in a regular fixture in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
It’s a chance to make friends and improve your golf at the same time! Ivan was an avid supporter of not just our junior section but to all our members at Styal. His welcoming, helpful and friendly attributes will continue on to welcome and encourage new and established juniors at Styal GC.
We’ll offer a variety of formats designed to promote learning, skill enhancement, and friendships! Whether it’s a Texas Scramble, a two Club Challenge, or a short course scoring challenge, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and benefit from.
*Please note – This isn’t an overseen coaching session, parents must remain to supervise their child until they are competent to both play and have demonstrated their safety knowledge and understanding.
The session will be overseen by our generous volunteer helpers, parents and grandparents (Please get in touch if you can help and haven’t already let Mark know.)
Tee Times will be approx 4.30pm to 5.20pm (may vary depending on numbers) every Tuesday during school term time on the Par 3 course.
There is currently no entrance fee (we may introduce a small fee in the future.), You just need to pay your respective green fee at the pro shop. It’s open to all members and those considering joining. There will be weekly prizes up for grabs too.
