Styal Golf Juniors

Level 1

An introductory level covering all the basics including swing, short game, etiquette, rules and putting.  This is the ideal starting point for complete beginners or for anyone with a little experience but have never had any professional tuition.

Level 2

This it the follow up course to level 1.  This again covers the basics and ensures a solid foundation for future development.  Covers all aspects of the game.  Upon completion Juniors should now have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of golf together with an understanding of the basic rules and etiquette.

Level 3

This is a developmental level, ideal for juniors who have golf experience and are now playing on the course or are ready to start playing.  Progression is dependent on passing various skill challenges, quizzes and playing standards on the Par 3 course.  Don’t expect to pass this level first time as it requires some patience, practice and dedication.  There are four seasonal programmes, each with a different focus adding a variety of skills and knowledge.

Level 4

For the Junior enthusiast who is now competent on the course and wants to develop their game and reduce their scores. Level 4 juniors will now have a handicap on the Par 3 course between 9 and 18. Focus now shifts a little more to an individual level with video swing analysis, personal development plans, sports performance and physical training. Much of this level takes place out on the golf course through the spring, summer and autumn months. The winter programme focuses more on technique and stability training.

Level 5

This is aimed at juniors who can now play on the par 3 course to a single figure handicap and now also has an 18 hole handicap. Again this level builds on Level 4 with a holistic approach, focusing on the physical, mental and tactical aspects of the game. Emphasis is now on playing the full 18 hole course to a proficient standard.
